Ontario takes its name from the Ontario Model Colony, founded in 1882 by the Chaffey brothers and named for their home province in Canada. They also laid out Euclid Avenue, with its wide lanes and grassy median. Today the city is a crossroads: Ontario International Airport is one of the country’s busiest cargo airports, I-10 and the 60 cross the city from east to west, and the I-15 runs down its east side. That last freeway is your route to us. Follow the I-15 south between Eastvale and Jurupa Valley into Norco and take the Hidden Valley Parkway exit; the shop is less than half a mile away, about 13 miles from the center of Ontario as the crow flies.

Between the 10, the 60 and the 15, Ontario drivers spend plenty of time on freeways in full sun, and the cabin feels it. Union Ceramic IR blocks up to 87% of infrared heat and 99.99% of UV, and it contains no metal, so it won’t interfere with phone signals or GPS. Tesla owners can have the rear glass and the roof covered in one piece of ceramic film where the model allows, as well as the side windows. In 1999 Ontario rezoned the farmland in the south of the city, the side nearest us, for homes and businesses; today it’s Ontario Ranch, and new neighborhoods are still going up. New homes and older ones alike take afternoon heat and glare through west-facing glass; solar control film eases both, and UV-blocking film slows fading. Ontario’s warehouses and offices can add safety film, which helps hold broken glass in place, on doors and lobby glass. Every job is installed on site, after we’ve looked at the glass.

Yes. From the center of Ontario, our Norco shop is about 13 miles south as the crow flies, and most of the drive can be on the I-15. Every car, truck, SUV and Tesla is tinted indoors by appointment, and most jobs take 1 to 5 hours, so set aside part of the day.
Yes. Our installers come to your Ontario home, office or warehouse, look at the glass and what you want to change, and recommend a film: heat and glare control, protection against fading, privacy, or security film for doors and storefronts. The film is applied to the inside of the glass.
Yes. We tint 2- and 4-door pickups, SUVs and sedans, and a business with several vehicles can call (951) 430-3553 to plan the work around its schedule. California allows any shade on the rear side windows, and on the back window when there are mirrors on both sides, and dark film there keeps tools and stock out of sight while the truck is parked.
The rear side windows can be any shade, and so can the back window if the car has outside mirrors on both sides. The front side windows take clear, colorless film that blocks UV and turns away heat. On the windshield, film is limited to a strip across the top, with its bottom edge at least 29 inches above the driver’s seat, and it can’t be red or amber. Medical exemptions cover removable see-through screens and clear UV film. Our tint-law page has the details.
The Union film we install on cars carries a lifetime warranty on the manufacturer’s terms, covering film problems such as bubbling, peeling, cracking and color change. If anything goes wrong with the film, come back to us first and we’ll take it from there.
It depends on the job. Cars, trucks, SUVs and Teslas are tinted at our Norco shop, indoors and by appointment. Home and commercial window film works the other way around: we come to your property, look at the glass and install the film there.
Use a soft, non-abrasive cloth and a cleaner without ammonia, and never scrape the film with a blade. On a car, wait 7 days after tinting before cleaning the inside of the glass.
