Home window film
How we tint home windows in Norco
West-facing living rooms, sliding doors and big picture windows take the hardest hit from the Inland Empire sun. Union window film reduces the solar heat coming through the glass, takes the glare off TVs and screens and helps block the UV that fades floors, furniture and artwork. Some films are close to invisible; others add privacy, a frosted finish or extra safety.
We look at your glass and the rooms that bother you, then recommend the right film for each — not one film for every window. On install day we come to your home, protect the area, clean the inside of every pane and apply the film with a mild water-based solution. It goes on the inside of the glass, out of the weather.

Home window film we install
- Solar control & heat-rejecting film
- Near-invisible UV protection
- Glare control for TV rooms & offices
- Reflective daytime privacy film
- Frosted & decorative film
- Safety & security film
What it fixes
Why tint your home windows?
Every room has its own problem. Here’s what the right film can do for each one.

Heat reduction
Solar control film cuts the heat coming through sunny glass, so the room by the west windows stays usable in the afternoon and the air conditioning has less to fight. Results depend on the film, your glass and how much sun the room gets.

Glare control
Take the glare off TVs, computer screens and bright kitchen counters while keeping your daylight and your view. A lighter film can calm the glare without making the room feel dark.

UV & fade protection
UV is one of the main causes of faded floors, rugs, upholstery and artwork. Window film helps block it, and some films also cut the heat and visible light that add to fading. No film stops fading completely, but it slows it down.

Daytime privacy
Reflective film lets you see out while making it harder to see in — when it’s brighter outside than inside. At night, with the lights on, that reverses and people can see in, so pair it with blinds or choose frosted film.

Frosted & decorative
Frosted and decorative film for bathrooms, front-door sidelights and glass that faces the street gives you privacy day and night, with soft light still coming through. It hides the view on purpose, so it’s about privacy rather than heat.

Safety & security
Safety film helps hold broken glass together after an impact, and thicker security film can make it harder to get through a window or glass door. It adds a layer of protection to your home; it doesn’t replace locks or an alarm.
Side by side
Heat-control film or frosted privacy film?
They solve different problems, and many homes use both — one for the sunny rooms, one for the glass you don’t want people looking through.
Solar control film
- Cuts heat and glare through sunny glass
- Keeps your view — some films are close to invisible
- Helps block the UV that fades floors and furniture
- Reflective versions add daytime privacy only
Frosted & decorative film
- Privacy day and night
- Lets soft light through but hides the view
- For bathrooms, sidelights and street-facing glass
- Not the film for cutting afternoon heat
How it works
What happens when you book

Tell us about your windows
Tell us which rooms are too hot, too bright or too exposed — or call (951) 430-3553. We look at your glass and which way it faces, then recommend a film and give you a free quote.

We protect the room and clean the glass
On install day we protect the floor and furniture near each window and clean the inside of every pane.

We fit the film
Each piece is cut to its pane, applied with a mild water-based solution, squeegeed smooth and trimmed to the edges.

Let the film dry
A little haze or a few water pockets while the film dries is normal. Once it has cured, clean with a soft cloth and an ammonia-free cleaner.

Read our reviews on GoogleBefore and After Tint Monsters (Norco) is the real deal. I was taken care of on the spot without an appointment. Once the vehicle was brought inside it finished within an hour. The price was very reasonable and they don't try to upsale you on what you don't want/need. Adriana took as much time as necessary to help me figure out the best option. I'll bring in my next ride. LJ
I HIGHLY recommend going tint monsters if you want fast and quality work, they had my big suburban done in 2 hours. There prices are also very reasonable! i will be taking all my future cars here no doubt!
I've been coming here for years and they never disappoint. The staff is genuinely friendly, the service is quick, and the prices are fair. They take the time to do it right without upselling. Highly recommend. You should be able to highlight and paste that. Let me know if you need a shorter one.
Do I need to say anything?! Just look how attractive my Bronco looks now!!! I found Tint Monsters on Google and I thought it was the best decision! The customer service is 10/10, they have a waiting area as well, they finished at a reasonable time. I have no regrets and would recommend everyone who needs a tint to come here! Thank you Tint Monsters for your awesome work 😏
Just want to say this place performance and quality work is top notch, very satisfied with the tint they did on my 2026 Nissan Pathfinder, highly recommend this place.
Yes, depending on the film and the light. Reflective films give daytime privacy while you keep your view out, but at night, with lights on inside, people can see in. Frosted and decorative films give privacy day and night. We’ll recommend the right film for each window, based on how your home is built and how you use each room.
Not unless you want it to. Solar control films cut glare while keeping your view, and some are close to invisible from the street. Darker and reflective films change the look more, and frosted film hides the view on purpose. Tell us how you want the house to look from outside — including any HOA rules — and we’ll match the film to it.
It can help. Solar control film reduces the heat coming through the glass, so your air conditioning has less to do in sunny rooms. How much you save depends on the film, your windows, which way they face, your home’s construction, your climate and your AC, so we won’t promise a number.
It will slow it down. Fading comes from UV, heat and visible light, and the right film reduces all three. No window film can stop fading completely, but protecting the rooms that get the most sun makes a real difference to floors, furniture and artwork over the years.
Often, yes — but the film has to suit the glass. Dual-pane, low-E and some tempered or insulated glass need a compatible film so the glass isn’t put under extra heat stress. We check your windows before recommending anything, and we’ll tell you if a pane isn’t a good fit.
On the inside of the glass, where it’s protected from the weather. We apply it with a mild water-based solution, squeegee it smooth and trim it to the edges of each pane, so the finish looks clean from inside and out.
Give the film time to cure first. After that, use a soft, non-abrasive cloth and a glass cleaner without ammonia — no special products needed. Avoid razor blades, scrapers and scouring pads, which can scratch or damage the film over time.
Yes. The window film we install comes with Union’s lifetime warranty against film defects such as bubbling, peeling, cracking and fading, under the manufacturer’s terms. Scratches, damage and misuse aren’t covered. If anything looks wrong once the film has cured, contact us and we’ll take a look.
